complete the picture of the Jena student body. The university's international office and the college of applied science's academic foreigner's office are available for questions from prospective international students. The collaborators and student tutors offer extensive support and advice (relating both to academics and social life), in order to help ease the process of getting settled in and completing one's studies. A multifaceted offer of German courses helps make things easier for the student him/herself, the student's family, the preparation, and the stay.
The program OPSIS (Optimization of Professional Support for International Students) offers structured departmental and social help through SciCoaches and UniCoaches, to those students who will complete their entire course of studies at the University Jena. Students from Germany and abroad, as well as scientific collaborators are graciously invited to take part in the program.
